Exercise is a key component to both the prevention and treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. Exercise helps with weight loss, but will also help your body increase its sensitivity to insulin. The goal in treatment of Type 2 Diabetes is to maintain optimal levels of blood glucose(blood sugar) to prevent advancement and long-term complications of the disease.
